What to do here ?
You can visit from Teomida famous sites of the ancient roman-greek world:
Assos: (45min) Founded 900 BC , you will visit the well conserved theatre built for 5000 spectators and the beautiful view towards Lesbos island from the Athena temple erected on the hills towering the ruins of the old city.
Troy: (1h30min) Discover the city of great epic, Homer will murmur you exploits of Achilles and Ulysse.
Bergama: (45min ) The city where Caesar and Cleopatra loved. Interesting archaeological ruins from the ancient Roman city of Pergamon.
Ephesus: (Oneday trip) Probably the most exceptionnal greek-roman site all around the Mediterranean sea with Pompeii
EXCURSIONS AND WALKS
Ida Mountains (45min.) :Aeneas’s refuge after Troy ‘s fall. This trip into this huge national park accompanied by a local guide will allow you to appreciate the mediterranean nature, breathing one of the the purest air in the world and to discover from 1885 meters high the fantastic landscape over the Edremit gulf.
Kozak Mountains (30min.) : Covered by a classified pine forest, you will enjoy the small restaurants waiting for you there.
Ayvalik, Cunda (20min.) : Exceptionnal archipelago with typical old houses and sea food restaurants.
To do around TEOMIDA : Fine sand beach (5min.), boat renting, fishing, scubadiving, wind surf (local club welcomes you). In our premises: Swimming pool, turkish bath, farniente, sun bath, pétanque.
Pet
During your stay with us, we provide them with individual doghouses in the hotel’s park.
How to get here ?
From Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen airport several airline companies THY or Pegasus are flying to Edremit Koca Seyit international airport. Airport only 15 minutes away from Teomida Hotel, a free shuttle service will wait for you there.
